ChatLabs offers a training course that is based on the CELTA program offered by Cambridge. This course has no affiliation with Cambridge but was designed by a DELTA certified professional, and is conducted by a CELTA certified trainer. This course is ideal for someone who would like to take the CELTA Cambridge course but isn’t sure what to expect on the course. This course would be a great introduction for such candidates. This course will also provide you with the tools to start teaching immediately after completing the course and receiving certification, as many of the candidates that have done this course are teaching all over the world.

All candidates of this course will also have to complete 6 hours of actual teaching practice which will be observed by a CELTA professional with an extensive formal feedback session after each hour of teaching.
Chat Labs customizes all its courses and training programs to meet the needs of its clients. No more generic course books that many students have used a thousand times. Each client or student will receive a fully tailored course for that individual, taking into account the exact level of the student, and what topics interest the student. We will also customize the skill set, would the student like to focus on grammar, speaking, reading, writing or a combination of these.
The process will work as follows for both our General and Business students:
· Step 1: Assess the student’s level
· Step 2: Interview the student to find out what themes and topics they would like to cover
· Step 3: Interview and assess what we need to focus on. (Grammar / Speaking / Listening / Writing / Reading)
· Step 4: Suggest an appropriate number of hours to cover what is needed
· Step 5: Design the course
General English Group Classes
$25 per hour (requires minimum of 2 students to create a group class)
Consisting of 15 hours, the timetable can be flexible depending on the group.
Classes will be conducted online using zoom, all classes will be recorded and uploaded to a shared folder where students can access it at any time during the course.
General English Private Classes
$50 per hour
$430 for 10 hours (Further discount offered depending on amount of hours over 10)
$950 for 25 hours (Free placement test and consultation for course design) valid for 3 months
$1425 for 40 hours (Free placement test and consultation for course design) valid for 3 months
$1725 for 50 hours (Free placement test and consultation for course design) valid for 6 months

Teacher Training Course
$950 per student, this includes:
24 hours of input sessions (divided into eight 3 hour sessions)
6 hours of observed teaching practices (divided into four 1 hour sessions, and one 2 hour session)
Access to a shared folder which will have all sessions recorded
The Teacher Training course is conducted online, but can be conducted face-to-face, based on students preference
The 6 hours of observed teaching will be done in person with real students

There are no prerequisites needed to join the Teacher Training program. If you have existing teaching qualifications and experience, or if you have never taught in your life, the course is designed to accommodate you. This course is not designed to train teacher to just teach English, and after completing this course you will be equipped to teach any language. However, the course is conducted in English, so you will need to have the appropriate level of English, we can determine this with a free online interview.
